Who we are
Original Drivers provides a driver-profile and business-toolkit platform for licensed taxi drivers, starting in Cambridge. We are a profile and request tool — we are not the operator of any journey and we do not take commission on fares.
Data we hold
Driver personal and licence data, vehicle data, financial entries you record (income, mileage, fuel, expenses), receipts you upload, and customer enquiry details submitted through a driver's page. Public profile data is kept separate from private financial data.
Customer enquiries
When a customer submits an enquiry, they consent to their details being shared with the specific driver they contacted, solely to arrange that trip. Enquiries are forwarded to that single driver — never broadcast or auto-allocated. We do not retain journey details longer than needed.
How we use data
To show driver profiles, forward enquiries to the chosen driver, generate the driver's own income and expense reports, and send service reminders (MOT, licence, insurance). We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Drivers and customers can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time by contacting us. We hold data securely with access controls and minimise the sensitive data we store.
