What Original Drivers is
Original Drivers is a digital business toolkit and a direct customer-request channel for independent licensed taxi drivers. It is not a dispatch company, taxi operator, minicab operator, or fare-setting platform, and it does not assign drivers or accept bookings on a driver's behalf.
How requests work
Customers contact a driver directly, or submit an enquiry that is forwarded to that specific driver. The driver confirms availability and price directly with the customer. We do not handle passenger payments for journeys and we take no commission on the ride.
Driver responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for holding and maintaining the correct licences, insurance and MOT, for the accuracy of their profile, and for agreeing fares with their customers in line with local rules. Verification badges reflect only what has actually been checked.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee a volume of customer enquiries, and availability shown on a profile is indicative — the driver confirms each trip. AI suggestions (quotes, insights) are business aids only and do not replace regulated tariffs or professional advice.
