Yes. Every driver listed is licensed by their local council, DBS-checked and insured before their page goes live — the same standards a licensing officer checks.
Can I book in advance, for a specific time?
Yes — most drivers take pre-bookings for a set date and time, not just on-demand pickups. Message or call the driver direct to arrange it.
Do drivers take card, or cash only?
It varies by driver — many take card and bank transfer as well as cash. Ask when you book; a driver's page notes how they take payment where known.
What's the difference between booking here and calling a taxi firm?
You're booking the driver directly, not a dispatcher. You see their licence, vehicle and details up front, agree the job with them, and they keep the whole fare — no firm or app in the middle.
